Distinguishing Features

Readers

We have successfully solved the common problem of high-power consumption among inductive-type Guard Tour patrol readers, by using a revolutionary new design with ultra-low power consumption. With high-capacity non-rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, each reader can perform over 700,000 readings (models BP-2002S and BP-2002-W Series) before a battery change. This allows for around two years of normal operations, whereas competing products can only last several months.

We have also solved the problem of electromagnetic interference between sensors and metallic casings, by being the first to use aluminum-alloy casings for our readers. They are designed to be super-strong and shock-absorbent, and are completely waterproof.

In terms of data security, our readers use Flash Memory to store their readings, so that none of the data will be lost even if the devices run out of battery. Their storage capacities are also many times that of the competition, allowing for the storage of over 30,000 records.

The readers use non-contact inductive signal cards to make their readings, greatly increasing their ease of use. Traditional contact type readers must be touched accurately to information buttons to make their readings, making them much less convenient, especially under low-light conditions. Because our inductive-type readers communicate via radio signals, they are not affected by dust, ran, snow, and many other adverse effects of the environmental.

Signal Cards

The signal cards themselves do not consume electricity, and can be used for up to 20 years. They can be sealed inside walls and other structures, which protect them from sabotage. This gives them another advantage over traditional contact type readers, which must have their information buttons installed on outside services, exposing them to the elements and human tempering, adding to the cost of service for vendors.

One of the signal cards developed by Bluecard, the cylinder shaped EM card can be easily installed by drilling a small hole on surfaces, inserting the card, then sealing the hole with concrete or construction glue. Another signal card developed by Bluecard is to be installed inside metallic material, such at oil drill rigs, where they help to keep track of the date that drill pipes went into service, thereby reducing the risk of stress fractures caused by overuse.

2. CE Certification

Bluecard has obtained the CE certification towards BP-2002S and BP-2002F as well as BS-6000 communication station.

What is CE-certification or CE Marking?

CE-certification or CE Marking is a conformity marking consisting of the letters “CE” which is an abbreviation for Conformité Européenne’, French for ‘European Conformity’. The CE Marking applies to products regulated by certain European health, safety and environmental protection legislation. The CE Marking is obligatory for products it applies to: the manufacturer affixes the marking in order to be allowed to sell his product in the European market. The CE Marking indicates that the product it is affixed to conforms to all relevant essential requirements and other applicable provisions that have been imposed upon it by means of European directives, and that the product has been subject to the appropriate conformity assessment procedure(s). The essential requirements refer, among other things, to safety, public health and consumer protection.
